Crewel Work

Beginners

This stunning class introduces students to the more complex techniques in the crewel work technique. Creating this amazing Jacobean inspired crewel work piece introduces students to the fundamentals of crewel work stitches, along with exploring tension, texture, and coverage. The piece is stitched on Linen twill, using a selection of Appletons wools. There are several colourways to choose from.

Cottage Garden Needlecase

This stunning class introduces students to the basic techniques in hand embroidery technique, creating this amazing cottage garden inspired piece. It introduces students to the fundamentals of crewel work stitches, along with exploring tension, texture, and coverage. The piece is stitched on Linen, using a selection of Dmc threads.

Art Deco TUlip

Beginners

This stunning class introduces students to the basic techniques in both the silk shading technique and the goldwork technique. Creating this amazing Art deco inspired tulip piece introduces students to the fundamentals of goldwork stitches, along with exploring the basics of silk shading. The piece is stitched on cotton velvet, using a selection of dmc stranded cottons and goldwork threads. There are several colourways to choose from.

Goldwork

Beginners

This stunning class introduces students to the more complex techniques in the goldwork work technique. Creating this amazing inspired crewel work piece introduces students to the fundamentals of goldwork work stitches, along with exploring padding, texture, and coverage. The piece is stitched on silk dupion, using a selection of goldwork threads and wires including jap, passing, twist and rococo, purl pearl, bright check, rope check, felt and carpet felt padding. There are several colourways to choose from.
