Lozenge needlepoint bag

This  Stunning lozenge needlepoint bag, is based on a 1766 design and colour palette.  The design has been adapted to make a stylish clutch, to add colour and charm to any outfit. The kit is a counted cross stitch, so comes with a preprinted chart to work from. Its stitched in 4 ply Appletons tapestry wool, and lined in a strong natural calico. Magnetic fasteners act as bag closures, with enough wool supplied to make a unique wool cord to act as strap.

Tapestry is not complicated. Its simplicity is its charm, what makes it so therapeutic and relaxing. I have used the most basic needlepoint stitch, the half cross stitch.
