Copper Egg (goldwork)

These luxury Fabergé inspired eggs, in its own storage box contains absolutely everything that is required to create this textured doodle design. The kit is stitched with copper couching threads and wire, in Guttermann’s couching thread on luxury silk dupion. The design is pre-printed on to the silk for ease of stitching. This kit is designed for those with some knowledge of embroidery, but not necessarily of gold work. The grey silk is included along with K8 Japanese threads, bright check, smooth purl , pearl purl, soft string , one reel of Guttermann’s couching thread and copper silk thread, sequins, Swarovski pearls and a piece for calico to strengthen the silk and a comprehensive set of photographs, instructions and stitch glossaryFinished size of design approx: 8½” x 8” or 20 x 21cm (embroidered area)Please note that this is a kit, it doesn’t include, frames or tools used for embroideryColours may vary slightly from the image portrayed
