This stunning class introduces students to the more complex techniques in the goldwork work technique. Creating this amazing inspired crewel work piece introduces students to the fundamentals of goldwork work stitches, along with exploring padding, texture, and coverage. The piece is stitched on silk dupion, using a selection of goldwork threads and wires including jap, passing, twist and rococo, purl pearl, bright check, rope check, felt and carpet felt padding. There are several colourways to choose from.

The finished piece measures 25 x 19cm and would make a great box lid, cushion front or bag panel if you were seeking to make a practical item, or simply a beautiful framed piece of artwork for your wall.
