Wanting to take your embroidery to a whole new level and design your own pieces? Want to work on garments?

This class will show you how to take simple sketches through to a completed design and stitch diagram, ready to complete your unique piece. You will learn how to transfer the design onto many different surfaces and how to stabalise the fabric ready for stitch.

This 12 week course will take you through all the stages, each new module being released weekly for you to complete during class or in your own time (classes will be uploaded after each session for catch-up or re-watching). Homework is to be submitted regularly to keep you focused and an accountability group to help keep you on track.

Equipment needed: Sketch book, basic watercolour palette, brushes, colouring pencils, sketching pencils (4H to 4B), fine tip sharpie, tracing paper, scissors, magic tape, light box (not essential but helpful)  .

Information: It is also recommended that you bring a pencil and note paper to class as well for any note you would wish to make.

There will be plenty of time to ask the tutor any questions during the sessions and in advance of the class. All preparation information will be emailed to you along with an invitation to join the class on the day.

Attendees Outside the UK: This class will run from 6-8pm (18:00 – 20:00 hours) UK local time.
