About Studio

Our Studio is based on the edge of Warmley village, unfortunately opposite a busy trading estate, but as we are set back from the road behind the houses we are actually surrounded by the champion gardens and brass works. The site was originally one of the world’s first brass works, and the stately home facing us on one side used to belong to the family, with the works behind it, so we have elm walk to one side and a statue of Poseidon at the bottom of the garden. Partially under the field (as the garden it 2.2acres) is an ice house, and to the same side as elm walk is the boat house, stream and feeder pond, for the lake (unfortunately drained, filled in and now a very ugly caravan park )

Just up for us is the old station, now a café and part of the Bristol Bath cycle path.

the studio is currently a Portakabin, in my Garden. But we are soon due for major changes as we have been granted planning permission to build a new house and custom studio, allowing us to have a two-story building with a workspace on the lower floor, custom to our needs and offices, plus storage above. We will be documenting the whole process later.
